National Bullying Prevention Month and Red Ribbon Week
During October, we will celebrate National Bullying Prevention Month and Red Ribbon Week.  I need your help on two projects. The first one is that we will wear orange on Oct 25 to celebrate "Unity Day."  I will give you a flyer to send home about this.
The second project is for second and third grade students only. I will give teachers orange paper leaves, and at your convenience, please ask your students to write an anti-bullying or pro-kindness message on a leaf.  I will use these for a Unity Day bulletin board.
Finally, listed below are the dress up days for Red Ribbon Week (Oct. 30-Nov. 3); I will also send home a flyer about this, but feel free to share the information with parents in advance if you would like.  Thanks so much for your support!

Monday
: Rockin’ the Red! Red Ribbon Week Kick-off Day - dress like a rock star or wear red
Tuesday:  Don’t be fooled by drugs - Wear your Halloween costume
Wacky Wednesday:  Don’t get wacked out on drugs – Dress wacky.
Thursday:  Join the fight against drugs.  Wear camo.
"Future" Friday
:  Your future is key, so stay drug free.  Dress in the clothing you will wear at the job you wish to hold when you are grown or how you think you will look in the future.
